Detroit Style — The Squares

Thick, airy and crispy where it counts. Our Detroit-style pizza pairs a light interior with a crisp bottom and caramelized cheese edge. Expect some char. Eat the crust.

New York Style — The Rounds

Thin, crisp and cooked hot. Our take on the pizza we love from out East has a flavorful crust and a well-done bake.

What styles of pizza do you serve?

We make Detroit-style squares and New York-style rounds in-house. Each style has its own service days; see the schedule above. Detroit's are offered in a small (8x10 good for 1 person or a snack for 2) and large size (10x14, can feed 2 comfortably), the N.Y. rounds are 1 size `17-18”

When do you serve New York-style rounds?

New York-style rounds are served Thursday from 4–8:30 PM

Can you order to go?

Yes! But as of now you have to come in to the taproom and order, Takes about 20 min. We should have online ordering soon

We’re in downtown Janesville at 10 N. Parker Dr., Suite 160, in the historic Carriage Works building.

Detroit Style Pizza (Squares)

Our bread and butter at the moment. This is our take on traditional Detroit style square pizza. Expect the crispy frico crust on the outer part of the pizza, a thick yet airy crust that doesn’t sit heavy in your belly. Gooey blend of 4 cheeses including Brick, Mozzarella and Provolone.

Our take on traditional thin crust New York style round pizza. Thin, crispy and cooked well in our 575 degree oven. Might get some charring, which only add to the flavor. The closest you will get to anything from out East.

In honor of our nation's 250th birthday i decided to make an old school malt liquor with Red, White and Blue corn.

Coming in at a healthy 7% ABV, 40oz to Freedom is robust and unabashedly American.

Big thanks to Willie Hughes at W.Hughes Farm for growing and malting the blue corn. He also sourced the Red and White corn for us as well.

IPA with Citra and Idaho 7 hops!

Parker Drive Pale - 5.5%

American style pale ale. A definite crowd fav.

Sunrise on the Rock Saison - 6.1%

Belgian Saison brewed with ginger, coriander, orange peel and grains of paradise. Citrus forward with just a bit of those spicy Belgian

Tower 81 Irish Red - 5.8%

Named after the ladder truck in service with the Janesville Fire Department. This Irish Red is easy drinking with a slightly sweet, malty finish that goes great with cool fall nights.

5 Arches Hefeweizen - 5.4%

Expect banana, vanilla and marzipan in the nose. Fruit notes are balanced nicely with classic spicy clove. Effervescent and easy to drink!

Lithuanian Raw Ale - 4.5%

50% Malted oats and Pale ale. Lithuanian Raw ale no boil with lemon, juniper and hopped with Sorachi Ace and Pacifica hops.

American Stout - 6.2%

Our first American style Stout is loaded with bitter chocolate and roasted flavors. A bit of caramel shows up in the middle of the palette once the beer warms but is balanced beautifully by the clean bitterness in the finish.

Rocktoberfest - 5.9%
